This Privacy Policy is provided exclusively for the INNONETS platform and all its modules (Business Innovation Tools, Data Management&Visualization Tools, E-learning Tools, Single sign-on server).

Joint Data Controllers

In the INNONETS Platform there are two Joint Data Controllers, pursuant to art. 26 of the GDPR. They are

Data Protection Managers 

For each Data Controller, a Data Protection Manager has been appointed. 

  1. For Politecnico di Bari, Data Protection Manager is Michele Ruta who may be reached at <rpd@poliba.it>

  2. For Legacoop Puglia, Data Protection Manager is Pasquale Ferrante who may be reached at <legacoop@legapuglia.it>

 

Personal data collected 

Some services provided by the INNONETS Platform, as well as some of their features and functions, may require user registration. Besides data provided by users, during their normal operation the IT systems and software procedures used to operate the Platform acquire certain data referring to users whose transmission is inherent in the use of the Internet communication protocols and devices used. The INNONETS Platform collects the following personal data: 

  • User name, password, First Name and Last Name necessary to access part of the functionalities of the Platform. We also may collect and manage the following personal data: 

    • generic information on professional experience and business sector

Mandatory or optional nature of data provision and consequences of any refusal 

The provision of data is optional but necessary to provide the service. Refusal to provide the data will not allow provision of those services that require data. 

 

Processing methods 

Processing takes place in electronic format through secure connections to the INNONETS Platform. The above data are saved on the server database. The user can delete it at any time using the functions present in the platform or contacting the INNONETS support at <innonets.platform@gmail.com>. The data will be processed in Italy. 

 

Personal data retention period 

Personal data will be retained on the Controllers’ systems for the duration needed by the purposes described below. 

 

Personal data processing purposes 

The INNONETS platform uses personal data for the following purposes: 

  • Create and maintain your INNONETS Platform account;

  • Provide the services as described in the Terms of Use;

  • Process transactions and send related information, such as confirmations and receipts

  • Administer user experience surveys;

  • Send technical notices, security alerts, as well as support and administrative messages;

  • Respond to comments and questions and provide customer service;

  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Services;

  • Detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents and other malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity and protect the rights and property of Medium and others;

  • Debug to identify and repair errors in our Services.

 

Rights of Data Subjects 

You may exercise your rights by sending an email to <innonets.platform@gmail.com>; in particular, you may request access to your personal data, delmand corrections or cancellation, or you may request limitation of processing and may object to processing. You will also have the right to data portability and if you wish to make a complaint you will also be allowed to submit it to the personal data protection Authority.
